Q: Can you read anyones mind?
A: Yes! As long as the participant is open and accepting to the idea of having their mind read, it is possible to read anyones mind.
Q: How far do you travel to perform?
A: While most of my bookings are in the Chicagoland area and the Northwest suburbs, I travel all over Illinois as well as out of state upon request.
Q: Is mind reading real?
A: If I said yes the only people that will believe it are the ones who want to. I invite you to see for yourself first hand and answer that question for yourself.
Q: What type of events are suitable for mentalism?
A: Literally any event that includes social interaction, because mentalism is a social art form, it can really fit in almost any enviroment.
Q: Can Andrew hypnotize me?
A: I do try basic hypnotism from time to time in my show, but like mind reading the participant has to be comfortable with the situation, and want to be hypnotized.
Q: Does your show have any age requirements?
A: While all my material is family friendly and appropriate for all ages, I recommend audiences ages 16+ for complexity of some material.
Q: What's the difference between magic and mentalism?
A: While magic consists of sleight of hand, misdirection, and sometimes the use of special props, mentalism is all about intuition, verbal and non verbal cues, as well as a sound understanding of human psychology. If you want to read someones mind you have to know how they think!
Q: What's the price to book a show?
A: Since the length of show and type and size of audience can vary considerably from show-to-show, the cost varies as well. Additional factors that determine the fee of a program include:
- Travel time and distance
- Hours of waiting required after set up and before performance AND/OR waiting time between multiple shows
- Specialized motivational message or communicated theme
- Custom-designed mental demonstrations
- Type of show: strolling, stage or parlour
- Type of venue: festival, corporate, private party
- Date of event: (Ex. holidays)
- Multiple shows in one day and referral or booking at nearby location on the same day
