Andrew’s goal was to create a stage show that is audience driven and would seamlessly blend together and re-invent some of the most amazing feats of Magic and Mentalism. Andrew will read the minds of the audience and reveal personal memories, a thought of word and page number from an imaginary book, and even influence the entire audience’s decisions. Mixing in Magic along the way, Andrew will make objects appear and disappear, performing complex sleight of hand with everyday objects like ropes, handkerchiefs, and Rubik’s cubes. A: Andrew has performed at all sorts of corporate and private events in Illinois including: Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Banquets, Corporate Conferences, Office Parties, Trade Shows, and Charity Events. Andrew performs at a wide variety of venues because mentalism is the perfect ice breaker for any event, it gets your guests socializing, and will make your event unforgettable.
Q: What are the requirements to book Andrew?
A: After getting you free quote, a deposit to hold your date is needed. Final payment is due 7 days before the day of the event. If booking Andrew’s stage show “Arcane”, Please provide at least a 13′ x 13′ space to perform in with the audience seated front and center. Andrew provides his own set dressing, and audio equipment for this show.
Q: Is Magic and Mind Reading real?
A: If I said yes, the only people who will believe it are the ones who want to believe. I encourage you to see Andrew in action and answer that question for yourself.
Q: Are there any age restrictions?
A: While all of Andrew’s material is family friendly, due to complexity of some material, ages 16 and over (unless booking Children’s Show) are recommended but not required.
Q: Can Andrew hypnotize anyone?
A: Andrew does try out some basic hypnosis from time to time, but like mind reading, you have to be open to it, and willing to have this kind of experience. Not everyone can be hypnotized, the same is true about mind reading.
Q: How far does Andrew travel to perform?
A: Most of Andrew’s bookings are in the Fox Valley area and the Northwest suburbs, however, Andrew travels all over Illinois and out of state upon request to bring his specially crafted magic to events of all kinds.
Q: What's the difference between magic & mentalism?
A: Magic typically involves the use of physical objects, such as cards, coins, and other props, to create illusions and deceive the audience. Mentalism, on the other hand, focuses on the use of suggestion, persuasion, and psychological manipulation. Mentalists often use cold reading, suggestibility, and misdirection to successfully read peoples minds. If you want read someone’s mind, you have to know how they think.
Q: What is the price to book Andrew?
A: Travel time, location of event, type of entertainment needed, time of year (IE: holidays), and discounts based on referrals or multiple bookings is different client to client.
